Born and raised in Jamaica, Matthew Dawkins has always had a passion for the art of storytelling and today, he uses this passion to fuel his career, create award-winning stories and promote a tight-knit community of online writers.

 

   Online, Matthew is a 2018 Watty Award Winner, earning the Change Maker Award for his debut novel, ‘Wicked, Wild, Wonderful’. He remains heavily involved in the online writing community through his social media and works assiduously to aid young writers like himself via his book club. In addition to that, Matthew spearheads the online posts for Project Black Boys, a campaign aimed at breaking stereotypes and denouncing gender and race issues of the modern era.

 

   Matthew’s journey is only just beginning. He works tirelessly to perfect his craft and do so meaningfully by telling unique stories from underrepresented point of views. And today, Matthew breaks all his limits.
