Hey, readers! I feel like it's been forever since I shared any style or fashion tips with you guys and honestly it makes me feel a little weird. Especially because it's summer, I think it's time we break that hiatus don't ya think?
A man's style is nothing if not a culmination of other fashion-literate men and that's what this week's blog post is all about. I'm constantly inspired and motivated by multiple guys that I think are absolutely killing the game right and I'm sure they can have the same effect on you too! Keeping these guys on my Instagram and YouTube feeds seriously help me to pick out what I like versus what I don't like and grow my own style. So, today, I'll be sharing those guys with you.
Oh, almost forgot! Don't forget to subscribe and like this post for more content just like this! If it's your first time on my blog, welcome, I do posts like these all the time and subscribing means you'll know every time a new post goes live. If you're not so new here, welcome back! You know the drill drop some comments below and tap that little heart button for me! Now, let's get started.
DevanOnDeck
Now, I know I've blabbed all about Devan already considering I literally have an entire blog post dedicated to him for my #BlackHistoryMonth special. You can read it here but in short Devan is my go to for everything fashion and style. I think his style is already a lot like mine and his integrity for only supporting true, good brands is rare nowadays. I treasure Devan like a woman treasures her purse. He is a one-stop solution for everything. Not to mention, if his Instagram doesn't have it, you can be damn sure his YouTube channel does, and on both platforms his content is absolutely killer. Devan's style is constantly edging in the realm of smart casual so if that's your thing, Devan is you guy!
Stevie Salle
Stevie is not only a fashion genius, but he has the personality and work ethic to match. His style is a little more dapper with heavy emphasis on sneakers but Stevie's energy and willingness to wear something a little unconventional is what I look up to him for. If you're a workaholic who's constantly seeking good energy and futuristic style, Stevie is where it's at.
Rio P.
While Rio's Instagram is fire, I mostly know him from his YouTube channel where he discusses style for your average consumer, What I like about Rio is that he's super laid back and he does a bunch of hauls testing and trying out different brands and their style. This is great for putting you on a brand you never thought you'd actually wear (*cough* fashion nova men *cough*) and for really pinpointing what your style may evolve into. 10/10. Would recommend..
Jair Woo
Jair is the man when it comes to casual fits and relaxed but not void of effort looks. His style is not as extravagant as many of the other people on this list since he likes to pick up items from normal brands like ASOS and ADIDAS but style them in a way that's a little less...basic. Jair is essential to have on my feed because his style is like when you think you have nothing to wear but just that tiny detail will elevate your look. Yeah, that' him and that's a style trick that'll last you a lifetime.
Style by Dillan
Dillan, to me, is a master of balancing loud, focus pieces. His style is a constant ying-yang of unassuming and head-turning and that's not easy to do. Take that shirt above for example, it's a little big, buttoned low into his chest and the pattern has a lot going on. But Dillan pulls it off so effortlessly that, well, it's a little mind-boggling. Oh, and not to mention he has a blog and a YouTube channel too so if you've ever wanted more from his Instagram, you've got it!
Conclusion
Okay guys, these are just my favourite people that I like to keep tabs on to stay inspired but if you follow anyone I didn't mention on this list, drop their handles down below and we so I can check them out. Also, if you head over to any of these guys' pages tell them I sent you!
Lastly, don't forget to follow me on Twitter and Instagram where I occasionally rant, share music and poetry and discuss the pains of being a creator. Oh, also, I share sneak peeks of my novel and new blog posts at times too, if you're interested in that. Anyway, that's a wrap, readers! Go write some excellent prologues (or don't) and I'll see you again next week!
